As part of the Balance series, Entreinte du Sol refers to embracing our grounding. This piece is poised on its toe, barely touching its grounding. It stands on a paver from Cathedral Square in Christchurch. It is poignantly balanced yet, it embraces the effect and impact left on his life. We move away, we leap in faith, but there is always a connection between us and our base, our grounding, the soil we are from. Edition of 11.
